Being Leaders

FIRST encourages young intellects of today to become the leaders of tomorrow. In that same sense we, Humboldt High School Robohawks, take pride in helping others care for nature today so that everyone may find it accessible in the future.

Preserving Nature

It is up to us to look beyond just reaping nature's benefits - we must work to preserve it. From corporations to the everyday citizen, we can work together to reduce our carbon footprint and preserve nature. Our team hopes to use technology to do this. In the off-season, we have been brainstorming ideas for rain barrels with water sensors. We hope that our team, and other FIRST teams, can come up with more ideas in the future to help make our world greener.

A portion of our website is dedicated to our green ideas. Who said implementing the three R's had to be boring? Visit our Green Gifts section to pass on "the green". Supporting Diversity

With our diverse school and team, we know that language can also be a barrier to collaboration. Our team wants to reach out to people from different cultures and different places. We have followed the footsteps of our school in going green, so why not repeat in being multilingual? We hope to have our website available in Hmong, Spanish, and French in the near future.
